Isle of Man Government Selects Concerto to Enhance Island-Wide Property and Estate Management

Concerto is pleased to announce the award of a major new contract with the Isle of Man Government, who will be adopting the Concerto Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) to modernise and streamline the management of its extensive property and asset portfolio. The selection of Concerto marks an important step in the Government's long-term strategy to improve operational efficiency, reduce administrative burden and implement more data-driven, transparent estate management practices across the island.

Supporting a Unique, Self-Governing Nation with a Diverse Estate

Situated in the Irish Sea between England and Ireland, the Isle of Man is a self-governing British Crown dependency spanning 221 square miles. The island is renowned for its dramatic coastline, medieval fortifications, rolling rural landscapes and mountainous central region. Alongside its rich cultural heritage and natural beauty, the island supports a complex and varied public estate, with Government Departments, Divisions, Statutory Boards and Offices operating from more than 450 properties across the region.

These facilities range from administrative buildings and public services to specialist infrastructure supporting businesses, communities and residents. With numerous working groups, commissions and agencies contributing to the governance and development of the island, effective property management is essential to ensuring smooth operations and supporting the needs of both global enterprises and local citizens who call the Isle of Man home.

A Platform to Drive Efficiency, Reduce Red Tape and Support Future Growth

The Isle of Man Government will use the Concerto CAFM/IWMS platform to manage all elements of its property operations, including planned and reactive maintenance, compliance management, asset performance tracking, estates oversight and project delivery. By consolidating these processes within one integrated solution, the Government aims to reduce bureaucracy, simplify workflows and enhance the accuracy and availability of critical estate data.

These improvements align directly with the Government's wider ambition to modernise public sector services, create effective new legislation and streamline operational processes to better support both economic development and high-quality public service delivery.

Business Development Director James Heysmond commented:
We are excited that the Isle of Man Government has selected Concerto. Concerto was chosen for its market-leading position in public sector CAFM/IWMS solutions, and we are looking forward to supporting our new customer in delivering its broader property strategy. This partnership represents a fantastic opportunity to help the island achieve greater efficiency, stronger governance and long-term operational resilience.
