Concerto is delighted to announce the award of a major new contract with Cumbria County Council, following a successful competitive process to replace the authority's incumbent system. This partnership marks an important step forward in supporting the Council's drive toward modern, efficient and data-driven estate management, while reinforcing Concerto's reputation as a trusted provider within the UK public sector.

Supporting One of England's Largest and Most Geographically Diverse Counties

Located in the North West of England, Cumbria is the third-largest county in the country, covering an expansive area of approximately 2,600 square miles. Its geographical footprint spans a wide variety of environments, from rural landscapes and national parks to significant towns such as Barrow-in-Furness and the historic city of Carlisle. With a population of around 500,000 people and a large, dispersed property estate, the Council faces a unique set of operational and logistical challenges.

To support these needs, Cumbria County Council will implement the full Concerto platform to manage every aspect of its property and asset portfolio. This includes planned and reactive maintenance, estates and asset management, compliance oversight, project delivery, and strategic planning. By centralising information and standardising processes across a geographically disparate estate, Concerto will help the Council improve visibility, enhance communication, streamline operations and strengthen long-term decision-making.

Concerto Business Development Director, James Heysmond, commented: “I am delighted that the Council has awarded a contract to Concerto. Like with all of our clients, we look forward to a long partnership where Concerto will assist the Council in transforming the way they manage their assets. We are proud to support Cumbria as they modernise their estate operations and move toward a more integrated and efficient future.”
