Islington London Borough Council is the local authority for the London Borough of Islington in Greater London. The Council business continuity team had been successfully using Bellrock’s Concerto asset management software to manage property information when the property team took the decision to allocate work to in-house maintenance teams and contractors in-house. The property department manages properties within a small area geographically, but with high densities of people, buildings and traffic.

About Bellrock Services

The cutting edge Concerto facilities management software was selected. The software was tailored to the Council’s specific requirements. With training the in-house team has been able to make other amendments to ensure the software is compatible with the organisation’s requirements and work rules.

In-house operatives are allocated works based on their skill set. The system automatically selects contractors for other works when capacity or specialist skills are required. The Council also deployed the system on mobile devices for increased efficiency, enabling operatives and contractors to access the system whilst on sites as well as in the office.
