Sales Executive

Concerto Support Services is a provider of .NET technologies, developing next generation browser based Project and Programme Management and Asset Management solutions for both public and private sector clients.

Concerto is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and driven Sales Executive to create and follow up on warm and cold leads, book appointments and develop and maintain positive client relations.

This role has potential to grow within the business and we are open to both experienced and junior sales professionals who are looking for their second role in sales and would like work for a small dynamic business that is growing year on year.

The role requires significant interaction with perspective clients, mostly over the telephone but also face to face.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Cold-call, emailing and networking in order to create interest in products and services, generate new business leads and arrange meetings
  • Convert inbound leads to sales opportunities by maintaining active, on-going communication
  • Act as the first point of contact with the customers conducting business dealings in a professional, friendly and proactive manner
  • Make potential customers aware of the features and benefits of our products and services
  • Follow-up on old leads and help with re-engaging old opportunities in our current database
  • Network at conferences and exhibitions and follow up on contacts gained
  • Develop and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified prospective opportunities via our in-house CRM system
  • Attend Customer visits if and when required
  • Achieve agreed individual sales targets
  • Liaise with Marketing to facilitate cohesive sales and marketing campaigns

Desired Skills & Experience

The ideal person will have:

  • At least some proven B2B sales experience
  • An interest in IT / technology
  • A track record of achieving targets
  • Experience making outbound sales calls
  • The ability to quickly build effective relationships
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with a can-do positive attitude
  • Well organised and know how to prioritise
  • Self motivated and good at working autonomously
  • Excellent written/verbal communication
